It’s no secret that in this day and age, having a company website is integral to your business. When consumers are curious about your company or product, your website is the first place they’ll check, so it’s important to make a good first impression. At Marstudio, we work to make sure your website is always top-of-the-line.
So, how do we create website magic? First, we start off by checking your current website to get a feel for your layout and what should be changed for user flow, accessibility, and/or aesthetic concerns. If you don’t have a website, we will send out a questionnaire to help us better understand your company and what a customer should know about your services.
Once we do our rounds of research, we create the website architecture. This “site arch” maps out how different pages will be laid out in the website navigation, and how pages will link to each other. Once the site arch is approved, we move on to the information architecture. Here, we populate the site arch with the text that will appear on the pages, keeping the message and tone relevant to your target audience.
Once we have the content, we begin our design process with the wireframes. Wireframes are not an indication of design, but they serve as a visual layout for the site. After we have the blueprint of the layout established, we move on to the full design: adding images, graphical elements, colors, and typography consistent with your brand identity.
The final step is development. Working closely with the content and design teams, our developers bring the website to life. Whenever possible, we work on a test portal to ensure your existing website is not affected while the new website is being built. Once complete, you will have a chance to review everything before the new website goes live.
Each step builds on the previous one and at each step we ask for your input in the process, ensuring that everything is customized to fit your specific business.
If you are a business in need of a new website, Marstudio can help. Call us today to set up your consultation and we can decide how best to move forward from there.
