My Chief Marketing Officer CEO Sherwin M. Shafie to Host the Red Carpet event at Rising Stars for Nataline’s Fashion Legacy

My Chief Marketing Officer CEO Sherwin M. Shafie will be hosting the Red Carpet event at Rising Stars for Nataline’s Fashion Legacy benefiting the Nataline Sarkisyan Foundation presented by the Maryland Center of Fashion Design.

The Nataline Sarkisyan Foundation was created to honor Nataline Sarkisyan and the aspirations she had.  Despite being diagnosed with leukemia, there were some things which leukemia just could not take from Nataline…. her teenage dreams and hopes of organizing and holding a fashion show.

Nataline lost her courageous battle on December 20, 2007 , after her insurance company CIGNA denied her a chance to keep fighting, but her dream will be fulfilled and her loving, generous spirit will live on forever. Every July, in homage to Nataline’s birthday, Fashion Legacy will be held.

The annual proceeds of ticket sales to the fashion show, together with benevolent contributions to Fashion Legacy, will provide grant scholarships to eligible students attending a fashion or culinary learning institute and Medical school. Nataline’s dreams will, in turn, help one of her peers live their dream.

“I am honored to be a part of this charity and the opportunities it provides our young aspiring students.”

CEO My Chief Marketing Officer

My Chief Marketing Officer designs and develops a website to help a friend in need

A few months ago tragedy struck and one our dear friends lost all her possessions in a massive fire. Everyone at My Chief Marketing Officer shared her pain and we were determined to help her get back on her feet. The idea came about to create a website for her and help promote it among her friends and ours so that they could help her in any shape or form that they could.  We rolled up our sleeves and got to work. In one day we visited the site of the fire, took photographs, brainstormed about the logistics, then had a small website designed and developed that not only encapsulated the tragedy by showcasing the devastation the fire had caused but also gave our friend in need a platform that allowed her to receive donations from friends and family towards rebuilding her life. We also provided her friends with a platform to express their support by giving her the much needed encouragement she required to keep her strength and move forward.

My Chief Marketing Officer Creates an Exciting New Identity for Kellogg Conference Hotel’s The Breaklounge

Kellogg Conference Hotel approached My Chief Marketing Officer to create a brand for their newly constructed lounge. My Chief Marketing Officer became involved with the project early on and even had some constructive input in picking a name for the hip and chic lounge.  Hence The Breaklounge was born. Once the name was chosen My Chief Marketing Officer went to work and created a logo that would complement the original Kellogg Conference Hotel brand. The original brand colors were creatively utilized to design a unique identity for the lounge and all its print and web collateral. My Chief Marketing Officer created the food and drink menus in addition to a host of marketing collateral such as membership cards to promotional flyers. My Chief Marketing Officer even went as far as professionally photographing the Breaklounge to assure the brand consistency of all the marketing collateral.

So far the response has been off the charts and everyone is enjoying the cozy little lounge and its relaxing atmosphere. Yet the work is not even started for Kellogg Conference Hotel is poised to aggressively market the lounge to their existing clientele and turn it into the place to unwind after a long day and My Chief Marketing Officer is going to help them achieve their goals every step of the way.

My Chief Marketing Officer launches abstract artist Susan Levin’s website

Susan Levin, a prolific abstract artist, approached My Chief Marketing Officer at a time when she was in dire need of a website update for an upcoming tradeshow that she was planning to attend. Like some of Marstudio’s other clients, Susan was having a tough time reaching her freelance designer that took care of her website maintenance. My Chief Marketing Officer stepped up to the plate and not only met her needs but also helped reinvigorate her brand image and design a new website for her that effectively showcases her amazing paintings the way they are meant to be presented.

In line with the website design efforts, My Chief Marketing Officer also welcomed the challenge of re-photographing and producing her entire collection of work to ensure that the quality of the photographs was accurate, and matched the detail, color, and tonality of the pieces themselves. My Chief Marketing Officer restructured Susan Levin’s entire website by categorizing her work for ease of browsing, and created a blog for her that she makes regular use of to keep her fans abreast of her activities.

Setup and implementation of social networking sites to help raise awareness and spread the word about Susan’s beautiful craft was the next natural progression of the design and development process. The new website is built with the latest web development technologies, and since she has opted to have My Chief Marketing Officer take on the task of maintaining her website, they make sure that it stays current and relevant for years to come.

Since the launch of her new website, Susan has received plenty of praise and numerous art galleries in the Washington Metropolitan Area and beyond have expressed interest in showcasing her work. Susan’s new website has increased her online profile by leaps and bounds, and has led to a steady and incremental incline in relevant web searches. Susan has grand plans for her future as an abstract artist and My Chief Marketing Officer is grateful to have the opportunity to help her achieve her goals.

My Chief Marketing Officer redesigns and launches Kellogg Conference Hotel’s new reservation system

As part of Marstudio’s full branding strategy for Kellogg Conference Hotel’s website, the reservation page had to fit the look and feel of the rest of the site design. Marstudio’s design and development team got to work on creating a clean and easily navigable design that wouldn’t interfere with the user’s ability to place a reservation quickly, to his or her specifications.

The task of redesigning the reservation process was not an easy one since our development team needed to stay within the customization limitations of the automated system; however, at the end, the transition between Kellogg Conference Hotel’s website and the third party application that serves as the booking engine was seamless. Most hospitality businesses utilize third party reservation systems that are not easily customizable, therefore the task of designing the booking engine’s interface became a delicate procedure in order to make sure that the design would not infringe upon the default functionality of the system.

My Chief Marketing Officer launches Kellogg Conference Hotel’s new and improved website.

My Chief Marketing Officer is proud to announce the launch of Kellogg Conference Hotel’s newly redesigned website. The launch followed several months’ worth of diligent design efforts and close attention to detail, the ultimate goal being to implement a new design with a fresh, seamless, and aesthetically high-end sensibility. The latest innovations in development functionality were utilized so that the conference hotel’s potential customers can navigate the site with ease, contact the relevant offices, sign up for mailing lists, and book reservations.

Despite having dynamic functionality and animation, the site is iPad-friendly, as it was developed without the use of Flash. With tailored SEO as well as a capable blog engine, the launch of Kellogg Conference Hotel’s new site has not only been a success, but a pleasure as well.

My Chief Marketing Officer was also responsible for redesigning Kellogg Conference Hotel’s full branding, identity, and promotional print collateral.

Susan Levin, a local abstract artist, chooses My Chief Marketing Officer to redesign her brand and website.

Local abstract artist Susan Levin recently called upon My Chief Marketing Officer to refine her brand and print collateral needs, as well as to redesign her website. As always, My Chief Marketing Officer rose to the challenge and embarked upon a simple yet sophisticated design approach, as a platform on which to let Susan’s art speak for itself. This approach was reflected in a beautiful trifold brochure, and will be reflected on her new business cards, letterheads, and envelopes. Since Susan Levin’s current portfolio images do not accurately represent the color and vibrancy of her artwork, My Chief Marketing Officer set up a reshoot to take high-resolution photographs of her entire collection to ensure the color accuracy of her work.

My Chief Marketing Officer is planning to design Susan’s new website so that it showcases her art in a way that reflects her artistic sensibilities without visually detracting from her work, with too many bells and whistles.

Development on Susan’s website will begin soon, so check back soon when we announce the launch.
