Over the weekend two of our team members had dinner at one of Moby’s establishments and noticed all-new cups and uniforms, but noted that nothing else (menu, interior design, etc.) had been changed to match, leading our curious minds to question…. Is Moby Dick House of Kabob rebranding?
It is no secret that Moby Dick House of Kabob is in need of a brand overhaul. Just look at the lack of brand consistency across all the Moby Dick locations; almost every exterior sign is a different configuration. Some don’t use the logo or seem to use it incorrectly, and several different fonts are used! Cringe-worthy. We hope the new design direction will be used to address some of these flaws and branding no-nos, and if the cups are any hint, we think Moby’s is on the right path.
However, we are still curious about the slow and somewhat secretive release.
If we could recommend one thing, it would be to get the biggest bang for your buck when it comes to rebranding. Now is the time to really market your company and establish your new brand within the community and the minds of the public. Do it big! Moby Dick House of Kabob should organize a huge roll out and coordinate advertisements, promotions, a grand opening (or re-opening) and more to make the most out of this opportunity.
